How is my Sauna, Spa, Swimming pool delivered & unloaded onto my property?

Pre-Delivery Preparation:

Before delivery, please ensure:

  • Clear access to your property (driveway, gate, or delivery path).

  • Provide adequate space for a large delivery vehicle.

  • Overhead clearance free of power lines, tree branches, or structures.

  • Ground conditions are firm and level to support unloading equipment.

Our office will confirm delivery details with you in advance, including access requirements and arrival time.

Your sauna, spa, or pool is delivered via:

  • Pallet/s on a truck, loose packaging, crane-lifted.

  • Enclosed truck (for smaller or modular units).

Unloading Process:

Unloading, depending on your order and site conditions:

  • Forklift on a truck.
    Used when there is clear, level access from the truck to the placement area.

  • Crane service.
    Necessary when the unit must be lifted over a house, fence, or obstacles, or placed in a backyard with limited access.
    Crane services are arranged by the customer unless otherwise stated.

  • Small Packaging deliveries:
    Small components may be moved using fork rollers, trolleys, or by manual lifting.

The pallets/packaging  is unloaded and placed as close as safely possible to the final location on site. Final positioning, leveling, and installation are not included.

The customer is responsible for:

  • Ensuring clear and legal access for delivery vehicles.

  • Obtaining permits, Building approvals, or crane permissions, if required.

  • Preparing the foundation or pad before delivery.

  • Hiring additional services if the site is not accessible by standard equipment.

Any delays or failed deliveries due to site inaccessibility may result in additional fees.

After Unloading:

Once unloaded:

  • Upon receipt of the goods, the customer is responsible for inspecting the delivered items for any visible damage and must report any damage to the delivered items to the BOSE Sauna office immediately.

  • Delivery paperwork is signed.

  • Installation, electrical, plumbing, and other contractor works is the responsibility of the customer.

How is my sauna assembled after delivery?

Assembly & Installation Information: 

Sauna • Hydro Spa • Hydro Swimming Pool

  • Assembly is not included with delivery.

  • All saunas, spas, and swimming pools are delivered unassembled.

  • Assembly instructions are included within the delivered packaging.

Assembly Responsibility:

  • The client is responsible for organising assembly and installation.

  • It is recommended to hire a qualified contractor for assembly.

  • Most units require two or more adults to safely lift and install components.

Electrician & Plumbing Requirements:

  • A licensed electrician must complete all electrical work, including:

    • Electric sauna heaters.

    • Power connections and control systems.

  • A licensed plumber must complete all plumbing works for:

    • Hydro Spas.

    • Hydro swimming pool water connections and drainage.

All works must comply with local building and safety regulations; this is the client’s responsibility.

What You Should Prepare in Advance:

  • A finished, level floor base suitable for the product’s weight and use.

  • Access for installers and equipment.

  • Arrangements for:

    • A qualified electrician for all electrical installations.

    • A licensed plumber is installing a spa or swimming pool.

    • Or a tradesperson to install the product.

Select Model or Request Customisation:

  • Choose a standard product model from the website, or

  • Submit a request for customisation.

Review Product Details:

  • Product specifications.

  • Note: Estimated lead time for orders not in the Melbourne warehouse is approximately 10 weeks, including shipping time.

  • Pricing information.

Review Terms & Warranty:

Review delivery options relevant to your location and selected product:

Receive Final Quotation:

A final quotation will be emailed confirming:

  • Final price.

  • Approved specifications.

  • Production and shipment lead time.

  • Delivery to the site.

  • Payment schedule.

Confirm Pre-Order & Pay Deposit: 

To confirm your pre-order:

  • Accept the quotation and terms.

  • A minimum 50% pre-order deposit is required.

Pre-Order Conditions: 

  • Pre-orders for custom products are non-refundable.

  • Any changes after order confirmation can affect:

    • Final pricing.

    • Production and delivery timelines.

When will my pre-order be delivered?

Delivery lead times vary depending on the product type, level of customisation, production schedule and sea shipping time.

Delivery Timeframe: 

  • Standard models:
    We can provide an estimated delivery lead time if there is no stock in our Melbourne warehouse. The normal factory shipment lead time is approximately 10 weeks.

  • If the item/s is in stock in the Melbourne warehouse, delivery can be arranged within 2 weeks.
  • Custom-made products:
    We can provide an estimated delivery timeframe and lead time in your final quotation, and after order confirmation and deposit payment.

What Determines Your Delivery Date?

The delivery timeframe is based on:

  • Product type (sauna, hydro spa, or swimming pool etc).

  • Standard designs vs custom configuration.

  • Manufacturing and procurement timelines.

  • Shipping and freight schedules.

  • Your address location and site accessibility.

Delivery Confirmation: 

  • Once the ordered items are packed & completed, we will contact the customer and organise the date of delivery. The freight company will also contact you directly to confirm a delivery date and time.

  • Delivery dates are estimated only and may be subject to change due to manufacturing or shipping delays beyond our control.

Notes:

  • Production or procurement commences only after receipt of the minimum 50% pre-order deposit.

  • Any changes requested after order confirmation may affect delivery timelines and must be approved by our office. Order processing will begin upon receipt of a minimum 50% deposit. Full payment is required in accordance with the invoice once the order is ready for delivery.

Do you require a deposit for pre-orders?

A minimum 50% deposit is required to process all pre-orders for saunas, hydro spas, Hydro swimming pools and other products.

Notes: 

  • Orders are not confirmed until the deposit is received.

  • Please email the payment receipt to our office.
  • Production or procurement commences only after the deposit payment.

  • For custom-made products, deposits are non-refundable.

  • The remaining balance shall be paid in full before delivery of the items, as scheduled in the invoice order.
